PRACTICE SELF GRATITUDE

Love yourself first and everything falls into line.

Love is a powerful emotion and so is Self-Love. Self-Love means doing everything possible that keeps you away from harm and negativity. It means loving your thoughts, dreams, goals, words, and every other part about yourself. To actualize and realize your ultimate potential, one has to develop Self-gratitude. It is often easier to give gratitude to others than ourselves.

Praise yourself for all the hard work you underwent to survive the present times. It is scientifically proven that self-gratitude reduces stress, anxiety, depression, and builds overall satisfaction in one’s life. It helps enhance self-esteem causing better productivity and performance. Celebrate all the contributions that you make every day. Keep a daily reminder that you are doing great and you have to keep going. Create a gratitude statement to remind yourself of the best things. Simple Journaling for five minutes a day about what we are grateful for can enhance our long-term happiness by over 10%, research by Emmons& McCullough in 2003 suggests.

Those who pay more attention to what is good in their life instead of what is bad are more likely to feel positive about their life. Individual success without gratitude is a failure; remember success always accompanies happiness. Self-Gratitude always turns a house into a home and a stranger into a friend. It allows us to be optimistic, makes sense of our past, and brings peace to us. In positive psychology, gratitude is strongly associated with greater happiness.

Self-gratitude can build self-confidence and help you face any challenge when no one else will. After all, no one knows you better than yourself, nor benefits as much as you do from being reminded of your own strengths and capabilities. It helps motivate you to keep going and build a mind full of confidence, while you walk on the path of greatness.
